Lifting too much can damage growing muscles, ligaments and bones, so be very careful.
Everyone is different, so you may show muscular development sooner or later than others. Part of that has to do with how much fat is on your body. The more fat, the more work you have to do to get the muscle to show through the fat layer.
Eat healthy, Exercise several times a week, and you will be good to go.

Lifting weights should not have any adverse impact on ur height as long as u use the correct techniques when lifting. Incorrect technique when lifting heavy weights, especially when involving the back, can lead to damage in the spine which could potentially lead to restricted growth, but it is quite unlikely.
As for getting big biceps, u need to lift weights which r as heavy as possible while still allowing u to use the correct technique. To increase bulk, limit ur reps to no more than 8.
However, u would be much better off adopting a full body workout programme as u do not want to have huge biceps & no muscle anywhere else.
If u want defined muscles u will also need to be very careful about what u eat, as no matter how big ur biceps are, they wo not be seen under layers of fat. If u r skinny, then u will need to start eating more, but make sure it is high protein & low fat.

you need to improve your general health first. if you do gymnastics you must get advice from proper person.you try lifting weight gradually as you can. you must have adequate diet-,i mean calories about 2000 per day . high protein diet and adequate rest.keep a cheerful mind .you are sure to get good results.

Dude, l was so like u 10 yrs ago. I've been from being skinny, to being fat, then to bodybuilding & now to all round fitness.
l was 5'8 at 15 when l started lifting weights, went as far as amateur body building comps. After lifting serious weight (150kg squats for my age) i've shrunk to 5'7, due to the weight compressing the discs in my spine & joints.
l am a personal trainer these days, & l see so many young kids lifting too much weight that is not necessary.
Whoever l train these days l recommend the same thing - Body weight excercises. Push ups, sit ups, lunges, chin ups, burpees, squats, rows & curls. That should give u a great all round physique very soon.
If u want to get nice biceps & great guns all round, l recommend u do push ups to failure every second day for 3 sets, immediately followed by bicep curls, or 21 is (look it up)

Although it is said that lifting weights does not impact ur height, l would advice u to steer clear from any heavy weight exercises until ur at least 17 years old, cause there is always that chance that u do not do them correctly & then u could damage ur height. That said, exercise will have a positive effect on ur height cause exercise stimulates the brain to release more growth hormone. If u have just started working out l would advice u to start with some basic exercises that will make u bigger, try doing 10 push ups every day , make sure u do them correctly, & do sit ups for ur abs. The push up is a great way to increase the size of ur upper body as it trains both the shoulders, the biceps, the chest & the triceps. l work out allot & l can tell u even at the gym there r not many exercises that r better for building muscle then the push up. l can not tell u how long it will take for u to see a result cause that depends on a lot of things. But if u keep it up u will start to see results. Good Luck , Rick

LOL.do u seriously think lifting 5 kgs for about 10 to 15 mins will adversely affect ur height? Arnold Schwarzenegger started hardcore bodybuilding & weightlifting at the age of 15. Does he look like a dwarf?
Right now focuss on skeletal frame development. Focus on ground exercises, endurance exercises, cardio, & sexual fitness. These will forge u into a strong individual by the age u stop growing. After that focus on putting on bulk. Doing this will not only make u look hot but it will also make u a super healthy individual. Chunks of muscles is just for show. They wont do u much good if u ever happen to fall into situations in which u had to push ur body to its physical limits. So do not train to get 'bigger' train yourself to become the 'last man standing'. That is the real deal.
About weight training. Whenever u train, train ur muscles to total & complete failure. To the point which there is no next one more rep even if there is a gun pointed at ur head. Only when ur muscles r worked to failure will ur brain begin to feel that whatever u r having in ur body is inadequate for the task u r facing, & thus give instructions for additional muscle growth. At each rep u do for a muscle, focus on its working. This coordinated neural linking to those muscles, giving them much better growth trigger from brain.
Once u work a muscle of your's, u should leave it alone. The muscles suffers wear & tare when pushed to limits like this. It needs time to repair & regrow. Typically each muscles needs about 48 hours to do the repairs. But More intense the workout more time it needs recuperate. There r workout routines for spartan builders who work one muscle only once a week.
So do exercises like
Day 1: triceps, chest & abs Day 2: Back, biceps, & Quads (thighs) Day 3: Deltoids, forearms & calves Day 4: Repeat day 1 Day 5: Repeat day 2 Day 6: Repeat day 3 Day 7: Sleep like an Ox.lol.
