Basically, l am wondering if guys really care that much about a girls weight. l am tall(5.11), but not skinny. l have been told l ''carry my weight well.'' l know that l am really pretty - and l ''take care of myself'' - meaning l dress well, good with makeup and stay fairly active. Again, I am just not thin...like a size 16/18. l often wonder if this is an automatic dealbreaker for men. l date - but not a lot lately and l wonder if its because of my weight. What do you think?

Well l have no concept of size 16/18 in women's, but for me if the girl is like anorexic or bulimic, then it is generally a no-deal especially with the bulimia, however other factors could factor in. If the girl is like visibly morbidly obese, then there are other factors that could factor in.

l think every guy is different. most young guys want skinny girls. but older guys, realize it is not all about the physical appearance. and if a guy does not want you because of your weight, than he is no good in the first place!

OK well l can tell u what u want to hear or l can be honest with you. l think l will be honest. If youre 5'11 that is ok as long as u r thin. If u have even a hint of extra weight or r ''thick combined with tall that makes u ''big.'' Big is bad. Sorry but yah its a big deal. For men appearances r as important to us as say a guy having a good personality or being a dud is to you. 16/18 is big. If u r 5'11'' u should be wearing a 10 or 12. You will get twice as many dates & better ones if u make the sacrifices.

a lot of it is preference. but a large portion is genetic-we are attracted to healthy looking people beacue we are prgrammed to make babies. l would suspect then that if you look healthy which it seems you do, most goes should not be instantly turned off. of course there is a ton of variation so who the fuck knows

in my experience size does not matter all that much to guys. l am 5'1 and a little over weight and l still get guys. As long as you take care of yourself size does not matter that much.

l personal dont care about weight. As long as the girl is happy with who she is then i'm fine you would be fine how ever you are. Any guy that calls you fat or overweight is not worht being with. Be happy with who you are and you will be fine.

It really does depend on the guy. l think curves are good! l have dated all body types; my ex was 5'9'' and a size 16. She was a big girl and was not dainty at all. But she carried herself well and was very sexy.
That being said, most guys would agree that even bigger girls look better if they exercise and tone up a little bit.

,look by merely reading ur question & looking at ur avatar, l have this little voice inside my head screaming YES, when l ask myself if l would want to date you, but l am the kind of guy u can do better than, If l were a rich, successful, well dressed, handsome smooth talker l would think ''hmmm l can do better''.

In general, a girl needs to look good or be willing to settle for who ever she can get. You need to lower ur weight or ur standards.

In my experiance l have found that if it is at night, the lights r off & the drapes r drawn so l can not see her, AND l have had enough to drink, l can just use my imagination & it wo not matter what she looks like.
