l do not think it is ILLEGAL, but it is not exactly the best etiquette. However, they ARE more likely to tell you over the phone that you are clean than tell you over the phone that you are infected.

Firstly, it is unusual for test results to be available so quickly - they would normally take a few days to come through.

Secondly, it is unethical for a doctor or his office to give out any results unless they know for certsin that they r being given to the right person. This is not usually possible if u phone the doctor since he cannot verify that u r who u say u are. It would also be unusual to leave results on a landline is voicemail service because other people may have access to the related phone. It is a little more secure to use a cellphone voicemail as most cellphones r very personal - but l would be wary of doctors who did that.

It is absolutely legal. Many doctor is offices call patients with test results, especially if there are no apparent problems.

If you do not believe your man, then ask him to get a copy of the results to show you. If he refuses, then you definitely should not have sex with him again, not only because he is refusing to let you prove to yourself that he ''is clean'' but also because he does not respect your concerns.
